Absolutely! Lab-diamonds are chemically, physically and optically the same as mined diamonds. After they are grown from a seed in a lab, they go through the exact same cutting, polishing and grading processes as mined diamonds. You can only tell the difference between them by sending them to a lab for screening.

Yes! All of our sterling silver and 14K gold is NICKEL FREE. In addition, we use nickel free gold posts in all of our silver hoops to ensure further safety for piercings that need extra care (nostrils and upper ears). Our flat back studs have surgical grade TITANIUM posts, an extremely safe and hypo allergenic material for all alternative piercing locations.

Our sterling silver is rhodium plated to keep it from tarnishing. All metals will eventually oxidize but we use a very heavy plating of rhodium to slow that process. If something does tarnish, please use a polishing cloth with compound in it to easily clean the item.

How to care for your Sterling Silver:

Yes, sterling silver does eventually tarnish, sometimes more than others. We rhodium plate all of our silver which keeps the tarnish away for a very long time.  Oddly, keeping your jewelry on all the time seems to keep tarnish at bay. The oils in your skin slow the process and your jewelry will remain white longer. When you are not wearing your jewelry, it is best to keep it in plastic bags, jewelry pouches or some other closed container. If you do notice tarnishing, simply wiping with a jewelry polishing cloth will take the tarnish away without harming the metal or stones.

 

How to care for your 14K Gold:

Yes, you can wear your gold all the time, although we still suggest avoiding chemicals like chlorine and lotions. When you are not wearing your jewelry, it is best to keep it in plastic bags, jewelry pouches or some other closed container. Gold can be scratched when mixed with other pieces so keep the items separated and keep your chains from tangling by closing the clasp keeping them separated with tissue or a bag. 

 

How to care for your lab-grown diamonds:

Diamonds sit at the top of Mohs scale of hardness. They are safe to wear all the time and just want to be loved. If you do notice built up dirt on your stones, we suggest gently cleaning with a small soft brush (a toothbrush does the job nicely) and some good old toothpaste. Yes, toothpaste, not gel, paste. Then rinse it off with water. Be very careful not to scratch the surrounding metal. Be gentle, it won't take much to clean your stones, if they need cleaning at all. 

 

How to LOVE your Seed2Stone jewelry:

Wear it daily. Sleep-in it if you feel comfortable. Leave-on earrings are our favorites, if you feel good with them. And, sparkle like you mean it.

Many GOLD styles are in stock. But, ALL of our styles can be Made to Order in 14K yellow gold. If you see something in silver that is not shown in gold, please CONTACT US and we will get it on the website for you.

Do you sell other gemstone jewelry?

No. Currently, Seed2Stone only works with diamonds, sterling silver, and 14k gold.

Can I see your jewelry in person before purchasing?

We don’t have a showroom where you can browse jewelry before making a decision. However, we have tons of photos on the site to show you what you can expect to receive and an excellent return/refund policy just in case.

Do I get anything else with my purchase?

Yes! Part of our sustainability mission is about protecting and reviving our environment. We plant a tree for every purchase, plus you’ll receive a wildflower seed bomb with your order so you can make a difference locally by planting flowers as pollinators.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the arrival of your order to reach out to us at info@seed2stone.com for a return. The item must be in its original, undamaged condition to be eligible. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a shipping label and additional instructions.

We recommend that you inspect your purchase immediately upon arrival to spot any damage or defects. Contact us right away at info@seed2stone.com so that we can inspect and evaluate your concern.

How do I exchange an item?

The fastest way to process an exchange is to return your item and make a new purchase. We’ll refund the original payment method as quickly as possible to make your purchase easier.

When will I get my refund?
