Yesterday the sun came out and I spent some time in my tiny Brooklyn backyard, surveying the space after winter's visit. I have mentioned my tiny backyard for a reason; tiny places require thoughtful decisions about what stays and what goes. You have to make choices: weeds, out, rosebush, in. Picnic table or firepit? What does this have to do with ears? Small spaces on our bodies require curation too!
