Most of us make the big mistake of  trying to sleep in jewelry that is not meant to be slept in and not meant to workout or shower in. So we buy fake jewelry that doesn’t last or turns our skin green. We end up wearing jewelry we don’t want or wearing nothing at all!

 

When my kids were young, I was too tired to take off my earrings but they were not comfortable enough to be left on, or secure enough for my daily wear. I found that I would go without any earrings at all… nothing to light up my very sleepy face.🥱

 

In addition to being a mom, I was a full-time product developer and merchandiser in the diamond industry. So, I made it my mission to study, experiment and create jewelry that would feel good enough to live in.

Can we tell you more?

Are lab-grown diamonds real?

Absolutely! Lab-diamonds are chemically, physically and optically the same as mined diamonds. After they are grown from a seed in a lab, they go through the exact same cutting, polishing and grading processes as mined diamonds. You can only tell the difference between them by sending them to a lab for screening.

Why does having a flat back matter?

ALL of our studs have flat backs for COMFORT. Our designs have removed the traditional backing that took up a lot of space behind your ear and poked into your head! We have engineered these designs to eliminate the traditional backing. We designed FLAT ergonomically correct backings that you can LIVE IN.

The size of the backing is also important. It must be relative to the size of the STUD so it sits properly on the ear. That is why Back-Off Studs have a larger back to ensure the studs sit nicely in place.

are they safe to slEEp in?

Yes it is safe to sleep in these studs. We highly recommend it. They are smooth and comfortable against the skin, as well as secure so they won't fall out. That is the purpose of the whole design, so you have NO maintence earrings!

can I swim or shower in these studs?

We do not take our studs off! They are safe to swim, bathe, shower, wash your hair...etc you get the picture. You might want to remove them before a hair treatment / color, but I can tell you that a few of us here at S2S that don't even bother. Live your life in them!

how do I find my right size?

Everyone's ears are different and the placement of your piercing may look similar to others but the fit will vary. That being said, we provide many images to show the variety. Our dimensions are DIAMETER. We will happily walk you through a consultation.
